CLIPPERS 108, KINGS 100: Chris Paul led a well-balanced attack with 22 points as visiting Los Angeles earned a rare win in Sacramento.

The Clippers (21-12) had lost seven of eight and 23 of 26 in Sacramento, but opened their six-game trip by pulling away after frittering away a few big leads recently.

Paul, who also had nine assists, was one of six Clippers with at least 13 points.

Mo Williams had 18 points and was 4 of 7 on 3-pointers. Blake Griffin had 14 points and nine rebounds, Randy Foye scored 16 and reserve Bobby Simmons had 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting in just his second game since signing with the Clippers earlier this week.

DeMarcus Cousins had 23 points and 10 rebounds for the Kings (12-23), who had won four of five at home.

Marcus Thornton and Tyreke Evans each scored 18 points in defeat while rookie Jimmer Fredette added 11.

Sacramento had 18 turnovers, leading to 27 points and that allowed the Clippers to break open a close game. The Clippers used a 12-4 run to start the fourth quarter for a 97-83 lead and increased it to 19 before the reserves came in.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Cousins has averaged 19.9 points and 12.8 rebounds in his last 12 games. … In his last five games entering Thursday, Clippers F Caron Butler had averaged seven points and shot just 29.8 percent from the field. He had 13 points on 5-of-11 shooting Thursday. … Sacramento forward J.J. Hickson landed on his tailbone in the third quarter and was taken to the locker room. ... The Clippers had 30 assists to only 14 for the Kings.
