Spurs 86, Thunder 84

Tony Parker drained a 3-pointer from the corner to tie the game and drilled a 22-foot jump shot at the buzzer as host San Antonio exacted a small measure of revenge in a rematch of last season's Western Conference finals.

Tim Duncan had a team-high 20 points and Parker added 14 points and 11 assists for the Spurs, who lost in six games in the conference finals after Oklahoma City reeled off four straight victories.

After Parker's 3-pointer tied the game at 84-84, Kawhi Leonard made the last of his five steals as Oklahoma City attempted to isolate Kevin Durant with 5.9 seconds remaining. On the final possession, Parker came off a screen and drilled the game-winner to end the contest.

Durant scored a game-high 23 points and became the second-youngest player to reach the 10,000-point plateau. He also had a game-high 14 rebounds.

Kevin Martin, who was the key cog in the trade that sent James Harden to Houston, connected on a trio of 3-pointers and finished with 15 points while Russell Westbrook scored 18 for the Thunder.

GAME NOTEBOOK: LeBron James is the only player to reach 10,000 points quicker than Durant, 24. ... San Antonio veteran guard Manu Ginobili missed his second straight game with a balky back, although the team said that he could make his season debut against Utah on Saturday. ... Oklahoma City shot 34 percent from the field in the first half - a total lower than any output in 2011-12.
