Cavaliers 93, Trail Blazers 88: Kyrie Irving scored 31 points and Tristan Thompson added 19 and 14 rebounds as Cleveland halted its four-game road losing streak.

Tyler Zeller contributed 11 points and nine boards for the Cavaliers, who are 1-3 on their five-game road trip.

Nicolas Batum, LaMarcus Aldridge and J.J. Hickson recorded double-doubles for Portland, which has lost four in a row. Batum had 23 points and 12 rebounds, Aldridge added 15 and 10 and Hickson chipped in 13 and 11.

Cleveland held a 26-21 lead after one quarter as Irving scored 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting. The guard was kept off the scoresheet in the second, but the Cavaliers still managed to begin the period with a 13-2 run and finish it with a 53-36 advantage.

Portland battled back in the second half as it opened the third quarter with a 10-2 burst and cut the deficit to nine points entering the fourth before a 3-pointer by Damian Lillard with 6:07 remaining forged a 75-75 tie. Cleveland fell behind by one after building a five-point lead, but Irving put the Cavaliers ahead for good with a jumper with 1:55 left and added a bank shot and two free throws to secure the win.
