Mike Conley scored 19 points to lead all five starters in double figures as host Memphis snapped a three-game losing streak.
Marc Gasol added 18 points and 10 rebounds and Tony Allen had 14 and nine as the Grizzlies halted Sacramento's modest two-game winning streak and beat the Kings for the sixth time in seven meetings.
DeMarcus Cousins was the only player in double figures with 22 points and 12 rebounds for Sacramento, which was limited to 47 points through the first three quarters.
The Grizzlies, who had lost each of their last three games by at least 20 points, pounced on the Kings at the outset of the second quarter, using a 10-0 burst to build a 14-point lead and take a 42-30 edge into halftime.
Sacramento trailed by as many as 18 points in the third quarter but managed to get within eight points on a 3-pointer by Travis Outlaw with 8:55 to play. Another 3-pointer by Outlaw had the Kings within nine, but Conley scored five points in 23 seconds to push the lead back to 14.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Grizzlies F Zach Randolph sat out the game with a strained back. He's averaging 16.4 points and 11.6 rebounds. ... Cousins had his third straight double-double and seventh 20-point game in his last 10. ... Rudy Gay had 13 points and Marreese Speights 10 for Memphis, which received only 11 points from its bench.
