Hawks 93, Pistons 85

Paul Millsap scored 19 points as host Atlanta defeated Detroit at home for the 10th straight time.

Jeff Teague finished with 18 points and a game-high seven assists for the Hawks, who held the Pistons to just 39 points after the break. DeMarre Carroll had 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Brandon Jennings led the way for Detroit with 21 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Rodney Stuckey had 18 points off the bench for the Pistons, who were coming off a home win over New York on Tuesday.

Both teams came out cold and Atlanta led 15-13 after one quarter before shots began to fall. Detroit took a 46-43 lead into halftime and was ahead 61-60 on Stuckey's basket late in the third.

Louis Williams and Kyle Korver hit back-to-back 3-pointers to give the Hawks the advantage entering the fourth and Teague had a jumper during a 6-0 run midway through that left Atlanta up 82-74. Teague added a pair of baskets in another 6-0 burst as the Hawks pushed their advantage to 13 points with 2:35 to go and cruised from there.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Millsap missed his previous game due to elbow tendinitis. ... Pistons F Josh Smith had 11 points in his return to Atlanta, where he played nine seasons before signing with Detroit. ... The Hawks had 22 turnovers but shot 50.7 percent from the floor.
