Spurs 100, Jazz 84
Tim Duncan collected 22 points and 12 rebounds and Tony Parker scored 15 points as visiting San Antonio cruised past Utah.
Duncan, playing the second night of a back-to-back, went 9-for-17 from the floor in 29 minutes for his third straight double-double. Kawhi Leonard added 13 points while Patty Mills and Marco Belinelli chipped in 11 points apiece off the bench as the Spurs won their fourth straight.
Trey Burke scored 20 points to lead Utah, which failed to notch its first three-game winning streak. Gordon Hayward added 18 points and Marvin Williams had 10 as the only other player to reach double figures for the Jazz.
San Antonio closed the first quarter with a 9-2 run to grab a 23-17 edge and led the rest of the way. Duncan’s dunk with 4:20 left in the first half stretched it to 47-28 and the Spurs went into the break with a 15-point lead.
Utah cut it to single digits on Richard Jefferson’s 3-pointer just over four minutes into the third, but San Antonio called timeout and took off on a 7-0 burst behind a pair of baskets from Duncan and Leonard’s 3-pointer. The Jazz never got closer than 12 points in the fourth quarter.
