Eric Bledsoe scored 25 points and Gerald Green added 22 as host Phoenix posted a season-high point total while knocking off Dallas.
Channing Frye tallied 18 points and P.J. Tucker had 16 as the Suns won for the seventh time in eight games. Goran Dragic added 13 points for Phoenix, which tied a season high with 15 3-pointers while improving to 9-4 at home.
Dirk Nowitzki scored 21 points and Monta Ellis added 19 points and nine assists for the Mavericks. Brandan Wright also had 19 points and Vince Carter added 14 for Dallas, which lost for the fourth time in six games.
The Mavericks trailed by six early in the fourth quarter and were within 107-99 midway through the stanza. Frye hit a 3-pointer to push the lead to double digits and Bledsoe later hit a driving hoop to boost the lead to 14 with 2:31 remaining as Phoenix finished strong.
Green scored 19 first-half points as the Suns took a 63-58 lead into the break. Phoenix led by 12 late in the third quarter before settling for a 91-82 edge entering the final stanza.
