Tim Duncan had 13 points and 11 rebounds and became the 19th player in NBA history to reach 25,000 points as visiting San Antonio rolled past Los Angeles.

Cory Joseph scored a team-high 14 points and Kawhi Leonard added 12 as the Spurs won their third straight game. Tony Parker contributed 11 points and nine assists and Matt Bonner scored 10 points.

Carlos Boozer had 19 points and eight rebounds as the Lakers dropped to 1-8 for the worst start in franchise history. Jeremy Lin scored 15 points, Jordan Hill had 10 points and 11 rebounds while Kobe Bryant had just nine points on 1-of-14 shooting for Los Angeles.

Bryant made his only field goal – on his 11th attempt – with 10:59 left to cut Los Angeles’ deficit to nine before San Antonio quickly went on a 10-1 to take an 78-60 lead with 8:33 remaining. Danny Green’s 3-pointer increased San Antonio’s lead to 22 with 6:52 to play and Joseph’s layup made it a 26-point margin with 5:07 left.

Duncan scored his 25,000th point with 2:15 left in the second quarter to give the Spurs an eight-point lead. San Antonio led 47-35 at the break and by 15 early in the third quarter before settling for a 68-57 lead entering the final stanza.
