Chris Paul scored 20 of his 30 points in the second half and added 11 assists as visiting Los Angeles used a 3-point barrage to slip past Sacramento.

J.J. Redick buried a season-high seven from beyond the arc en route to a season-best 27 points and Blake Griffin collected 19 points and 10 rebounds as the Clippers pulled even with the Dallas Mavericks for the No. 5 spot in the Western Conference. Hedo Turkoglu scored 15 of his season-high 19 points from beyond the arc for Los Angeles, which went 17-of-37 from 3-point range.

Rudy Gay scored 23 points and Andre Miller added 16 off the bench for the Kings. Jason Thompson contributed 12 points and eight rebounds for Sacramento, which was without All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins (calf).

Redick bookended an 18-6 run with a pair of 3-pointers – the last a four-point play - and Turkoglu added a pair from beyond the arc during the spurt as the Clippers took a 102-90 lead with 5:30 remaining. Paul buried another 3-pointer to make it 106-93 with 3:44 left as Los Angeles put it away.

Redick had 17 points in the first half but the Clippers needed to score the final four points to take a 51-49 lead into the break. Paul’s 3-pointer with 2:35 left in the third made it a 76-66 gap but Andre Miller’s basket with 9:12 remaining pulled the Kings even at 84.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Redick’s outing marked his 17th game with at least 20 points this season – a career best. … Turkoglu went 7-of-12 from the field while starting in place of F Matt Barnes (hamstring), who missed his second straight game. … Clippers C DeAndre Jordan contributed 15 rebounds and four blocks to go with six points.
