Brook Lopez scored 26 points on 11-of-14 shooting and blocked four shots as visiting Brooklyn handed Indiana its fifth straight loss.

Bojan Bogdanovic added 21 points on 8-of-8 shooting and Deron Williams had 17 points and six assists for the Nets, who moved within one game of eighth-place Boston for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Joe Johnson scored 14 points for Brooklyn, which shot 61.3 percent from the field.

George Hill had 18 points and nine assists and Solomon Hill and Luis Scola scored 17 points apiece for the Pacers, who fell a half-game behind the Celtics in the East. Roy Hibbert added 16 points, C.J. Miles tallied 14 points and David West scored 13.

Scola’s layup had Indiana within 99-98 with 6:46 left in the game before the Nets scored the next seven points, capped by Johnson’s three-point play. Lopez’s basket made it 111-101 with 3:31 left and Brooklyn held a comfortable lead the rest of the way.

The Nets led by as many as 12 in the second quarter before settling for a 63-56 advantage at the break. The Pacers recovered to take a 78-74 lead on Hibbert’s basket with 5:09 left in the third quarter before Brooklyn closed strong and took an 88-87 edge into the fourth quarter.
