Hawks rally past Bucks

MILWAUKEE -- Denis Schroder and Paul Millsap combined for 29 second-half points as the Atlanta Hawks rallied from a 20-point halftime deficit for a 114-110 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night at the Bradley Center.

Schroder finished with a game-high 33 points while Millsap added 23. Tim Hardaway Jr. sank three 3-pointers to add 18 for the Hawks, who shot 47.6 percent and went 12-for-34 on 3-point attempts.

Jabari Parker led Milwaukee with 27 on 11-of-24 shooting. The Bucks got 14 off the bench from both Michael Beasley and Greg Monroe.

Giannis Antetokounmpo also finished with 14 points and added six rebounds but spent much of the second half on the bench with four fouls.

Even with Antetokounmpo battling foul trouble, the Bucks had their way with Atlanta early on. Milwaukee hit 8 of 13 3-pointers and shot 57.1 percent in the first half to take a 64-44 lead into the break.

Parker scored 15 in the half while Jason Terry kicked in nine while playing 11 minutes.

The Hawks attempted 17 3s but made just three and shot 39.5 percent in the opening half but came out strong to start the third and cut the deficit in half on a 3-pointer by Schroeder with 7:45 left in the quarter.

Atlanta hit 8 of 13 3-pointers and scored 40 in the quarter to go into the fourth down eight. Millsap tied it up at 103 on a layup with 4:18 to play and a Korver 3-pointer a minute later gave Atlanta its first lead since late in the opening quarter.

Milwaukee led once more in the final minutes, going up 106-105 on a 3-pointer from Parker with 1:51 left but a driving layup from Schroder and a 3 from Hardaway put the Hawks out front for good.
