Jarret Stoll tallied twice and Ryan Smyth netted the eventual game-winner with just over 3 1/2 minutes remaining in the third period as the Los Angeles Kings skated to a 6-4 triumph over the visiting Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday.
Captain Dustin Brown, Justin Williams and defenseman Alec Martinez also scored and blue-liner Jack Johnson notched three assists as Los Angeles (23-17-1) snapped a five-game losing skid.
Despite permitting three third-period goals, Jonathan Quick held on to improve his season mark to 19-10-1. The 24-year-old Connecticut native finished with 30 saves in this one.
Stoll scored with 4:10 remaining in the first period to give the Kings a 3-0 lead, and then upped the ante with a shorthanded tally 7:12 into the second.
Captain Rick Nash tallied twice, Fedor Tyutin scored and rookie Matt Calvert netted his first career NHL goal in his second game for Columbus (20-18-3), which has dropped four in a row and 16 of its last 22 games.
Jakub Voracek notched a pair of assists and Mathieu Garon finished with 35 saves for the Blue Jackets, who fell to 1-9-2 in their last 12 games away from Nationwide Arena.
