After David Backes netted his team-leading 29th goal with 5:33 remaining in the second period to stake the Blues to a 2-0 lead, Iginla responded just 81 seconds later to Calgary on the scoreboard.

Iginla then set up Tanguay for his 20th of the season 8:01 into the third period, and the captain then wristed his 39th of the season past Jaroslav Halak with 5:03 remaining.
