Columbus pulled its goalie for the extra attacker and made a push with less than a minute to play, but couldn't solve Cory Schneider. The netminder made an incredible sliding save on Mark Letestu at the final buzzer to earn his 16th win.
After defenseman Jack Johnson tallied to cut Vancouver's lead to 3-2, Sedin capitalized on the power play 15:19 into the third for his team-leading 30th marker and second goal of the game. Twin brother Henrik assisted on both goals.
Defenseman James Wisniewski ripped a slapper past Schneider 16:24 into the last frame for Columbus, which has lost four straight games.
Vancouver hits the road for four games beginning Monday in Minnesota.
