Bruins 3, Blue Jackets 1
Milan Lucic recorded his 13th career two-goal performance and Patrice Bergeron scored for the second straight contest as host Boston completed a three-game sweep of the regular-season series.
David Krejci notched a pair of assists and Chad Johnson turned aside 13 shots for the Bruins, who improved to 10-2-1 in their last 13 contests.
Ryan Johansen spoiled Johnson's bid for his second career shutout by scoring his team-leading 10th goal - and fourth in as many games - at 6:16 of the third period. Curtis McElhinney finished with 33 saves in his first start since Nov. 15 for the Blue Jackets, who are winless in six straight versus Boston.
After scoring on Friday to snap a six-game stretch without a point, Bergeron picked up where he left off at 9:02 of the first period. Bergeron's wrist shot from the hash marks near the right-wing boards found its way past a screened McElhinney for his eighth goal of the season.
Lucic doubled the advantage nearly five minutes later by deflecting rookie defenseman Torey Krug's shot from the high slot. The burly Lucic added his team-leading 11th of the season at 2:15 of the third as his point shot was deflected by Columbus defenseman Jack Johnson - but the puck sailed skyward before fluttering into the net.
