Defenseman Marc-Edouard Vlasic scored with 4.5 seconds remaining in the third period as visiting San Jose stunned Winnipeg.
Logan Couture grabbed the puck after a faceoff win by Joe Pavelski and slid it across the slot to Vlasic, who beat Michael Hutchinson short side from the left faceoff circle for his second game-winner of the season - both against Winnipeg. Fellow blue-liner Brent Burns recorded a goal and an assist, rookie Melker Karlsson also scored and Antti Niemi made 17 saves as the Sharks won for the second time in six games (2-3-1).
Captain Andrew Ladd and defenseman Jay Harrison scored for the Jets, who completed a 1-3-0 homestand. Bryan Little notched an assist to extend his point streak to seven games and Hutchinson turned aside 34 shots.
San Jose was awarded an early power play and took advantage as Burns drilled a one-timer from the blue line past Hutchinson 2:53 into the contest. Winnipeg answered with a man-advantage tally of its own when Ladd beat Niemi with a one-timer from the top of the slot at 9:17.
The Sharks regained the lead at 4:15 of the second period, when Karlsson deflected Pavelski's shot from along the right-wing boards for his second goal in two games. The Jets cashed in on another power play early in the third to tie it as a pass attempt caromed off a defender's skate and right to Harrison, who blasted the puck past Niemi at 4:03.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Couture and Pavelski recorded two assists apiece for San Jose, which lost C Tomas Hertl to a facial injury early in the third period. ... Sharks D-LW John Scott returned to the lineup after serving a four-game suspension for an illegal hit on Anaheim's Tim Jackman and registered one shot while blocking another in 4:48 of ice time. ... San Jose entered 1-for-20 on the power play over its previous four games before converting its first opportunity, but finished 1-for-7.
