Blackhawks 4, Blues 2
ST. LOUIS -- Right winger Patrick Kane's power-play goal late in the second period broke a 2-2 tie and lifted the Chicago Blackhawks to a 4-2 win over the St. Louis Blues on Saturday night.
The goal was Kane's 12th of the season. He came into Saturday night tied for the NHL lead with 11 goals and 25 points, and his goal extended his scoring streaks to six consecutive games with a goal and 12 consecutive games with at least one point.
Kane failed to get a point in only two of the Blackhawks' 17 games this season.
Kane's goal also allowed the Blackhawks to snap a five-game road losing streak and win away from Chicago for only the second time in seven games this season.
He scored the goal with 1:05 to go in the period, just 15 seconds into a minor slashing penalty on Blues right winger Troy Brouwer. The goal came just 28 seconds after Chicago thought it had scored the go-ahead goal, by left winger Marko Dano, only to be denied by a spectacular diving glove save by Blues goalie Jake Allen.
Center Artem Anisimov added an empty-net goal with 47 seconds left for the final margin.
The Blues had taken a 2-1 lead on two goals 1:44 apart from right Vladimir Tarasenko in the second period. He scored his ninth of the season when he knocked his own rebound past goalie Corey Crawford, then added the Blues' first power-play goal in 24 chances at home in seven games this season -- his 10th goal of the year -- for the short-lived lead.
Chicago defenseman Trevor van Riemsdyk tied the score at 15:17 of the second period.
The Blackhawks had taken an early 1-0 lead on a goal by right winger Andrew Shaw, who deflected a shot by defenseman Duncan Keith past Allen 4:10 into the game.

Rozsival made his season debut, having been sidelined since last year's playoffs because of a broken ankle. ... RW Ryan Reaves was in the Blues' lineup after being a healthy scratch in the last two games. Reaves took the place of RW Martin Havlat, who requested his release after playing only two games for the Blues. He made the request for personal reasons, which he asked the team to keep private. ... The Blues will host Winnipeg on Monday night and the Blackhawks are back in action on Sunday night at home against the Calgary Flames before beginning a six-game trip.
