Bulls 99, Pacers 86
Derrick Rose scored 29 points to carry the Chicago Bulls to a 99-86 road win over the Indiana Pacers on Friday night.
Rose, who went 11-of-21 from the field, also had 10 rebounds and five assists, helping Chicago break a three-game road losing streak. Luol Deng scored 17 points while Carlos Boozer added 14 for the Bulls (26-13). Kurt Thomas notched 18 rebounds.
Danny Granger led Indiana (16-21) with 22 points, but had a poor shooting night, making 8-of-23 from the field. Mike Dunleavy scored 13 points and Tyler Hansbrough had 12. Jeff Foster had 15 rebounds.
The Bulls moved to 8-0 against Central Division teams, while the Pacers are just 6-14 against teams above .500.
Chicago seized control by scoring 12 straight points late in the second quarter. The run turned a four-point lead into a 53-37 advantage. Boozer and Deng scored four points apiece, Kyle Korver hit a 3-pointer and Rose made a free throw during the 3:43 stretch.
Rose took over in the third quarter by scoring 12 points. He knocked down three 3-pointers and converted a four-point play after being fouled while hitting one of the long shots.
