Bulls 110, Pacers 89
Derrick Rose recovered from a poor first half to collect 20 points and seven assists as the Chicago Bulls cruised to their fifth consecutive victory, 110-89, over the Indiana Pacers on Saturday.
Luol Deng added 19 points, eight assists and six rebounds, and Carlos Boozer finished with 24 points and 10 boards for the Bulls, who have won eight of nine to move into second place in the Eastern Conference.
Rose managed just five points on 1-of-7 shooting in first half but Chicago still took a 55-51 lead into the break thanks to a strong effort from the bench in the second quarter, including seven points in a row from Kyle Korver.
Rose began the third quarter with a pair of mid-range jumpers and ended it with a 3-pointer to send the Bulls into the final 12 minutes with a 77-72 edge. He started the fourth with two more quick baskets and Chicago was never threatened, opening it up to 102-82 with 3:23 left after Korver knocked down a pair of technical free throws.
Boozer piled on with two three-point plays in a row in the final 2:15 to stretch the lead to 23 points.
Josh McRoberts recorded 20 points and eight rebounds while Danny Granger scored 19 for the Pacers.
