Bulls 87, Heat 86

Luol Deng hit the go-ahead free throws with 15 seconds remaining as the Chicago Bulls held on for an 87-86 win over host Miami on Sunday, sending the Heat to their fourth straight loss.

Miami's dynamic duo of LeBron James and Dwyane Wade had shots to win it at the end, but both fell short. James drove into the lane with six seconds left, but his left-handed shot over an outstretched Joakim Noah was off the mark. Wade corralled the rebound, but his off-balance, turnaround jumper on the baseline clanked off the rim at the buzzer.

Derrick Rose had 27 points and five assists and Deng had 18 points for the Bulls, who swept the three-game series against the Heat this season.

James had 26 points, eight rebounds and six assists and Wade had 20 points and seven turnovers for the Heat, who continued their alarming inability to close out games with their stars on the court. The Heat blew a 12-point lead in the first half and have dropped five of their last six games.

The Bulls moved a game ahead of Miami in the Eastern Conference playoff seeding with the victory.
