Pistons 110, Bucks 100
Chris Wilcox registered season-high outputs with 27 points and 13 rebounds and Rodney Stuckey added 22 points as the Detroit Pistons earned a 110-100 victory over the visiting Milwaukee Bucks on Friday.
Tayshaun Prince added 16 points and Charlie Villanueva had 15 points for Detroit (28-51).
Brandon Jennings scored a game-high 31 for Milwaukee (32-47).
The Pistons led by as many as 14 points in the first half and had a 12-point lead midway through the final quarter. But Milwaukee rallied with a 10-2 run to pull within 100-96 on Drew Gooden’s dunk with 2:46 remaining before Stuckey made four consecutive free throws to help Detroit pull away.
Detroit used a 21-6 run in the first half to open up a 39-25 lead on Villanueva’s basket with 8:11 left in the first half.
Wilcox made 11 of 17 shots in just 24 minutes of action.
Milwaukee’s Ersan Ilyasova had 18 points and six rebounds in his first court time since Feb. 23 due to the lingering effects of a concussion.
