Magic 101, Wizards 76
Dwight Howard dominated the inside with 32 points on 12-of-15 shooting and added 10 rebounds and three blocks as the Orlando Magic crushed the visiting Washington Wizards, 101-76, on Wednesday.
Jason Richardson chipped in 16 points and Brandon Bass scored 15 for the Magic, who head into the All-Star break having won four of five.
Howard scored 12 points in the second quarter as Orlando made its move, turning a three-point deficit early in the frame into a 48-39 lead at the half. The Magic opened it up after the break, outscoring the Wizards 32-16 in the third behind 15 more from Howard and 10 from Richardson to turn it into a blowout.
Howard and most of the starters sat out the final quarter as Orlando coasted to the finish.
John Wall scored 27 points and Andray Blatche collected 15 points and nine rebounds for Washington, which failed to follow up its first road victory of the season and fell to 1-26 away from the Verizon Center.
