Tony Parker collected 19 points and nine assists and DeJuan Blair added 15 points and 13 rebounds as the host San Antonio Spurs topped the slumping Golden State Warriors, 111-94, on Wednesday.
George Hill scored 17 points and rookie Tiago Splitter chipped in 12 off the bench for the Spurs, who have won three straight and own the NBA’s best record at 18-3.
San Antonio used a 16-0 first-quarter run to race to a 20-9 lead and held a 29-19 advantage after one period as Parker scored nine points.
A 9-2 run out of the break grew the lead to 66-49, and San Antonio was able to hold off each of the small bursts Golden State attempted the rest of the way.
Reggie Williams hit seven 3-pointers and scored 28 points off the bench to lead the Warriors, who have dropped 10 of their last 11.
