Spurs 113, Warriors 102
Manu Ginobili led six players in double figures with 20 points as the San Antonio Spurs earned a 113-102 victory over the host Golden State Warriors on Monday night.
Tony Parker added 18 points and 11 assists for league-leading San Antonio (38-7), which bounced back from its most lopsided loss of the season - a 96-72 setback at New Orleans on Saturday - and beat Golden State (19-25) for the ninth consecutive time.
Spurs star forward Tim Duncan briefly left in the second quarter with what the team called a “hyperflexed left knee.” He tried to set a pick on Acie Law and his knee buckled when he turned to roll to the basket.
Duncan returned to start the third quarter and finished with 16 points and seven rebounds.
Antonio McDyess had 14 points and 10 rebounds, George Hill scored 14 points and Gary Neal had 11 for the Spurs, who shot 50 percent (41-of-82) from the field.
The win clinched the Western Conference All-Star coaching berth for Gregg Popovich, who also coached the West in 2005.
David Lee had 31 points and 12 rebounds for Golden State, which had won seven of its last eight home games. Monta Ellis scored 25 points and Dorell Wright added 18 and nine assists.
