Bucks 102, Wizards 81
Brandon Jennings scored 22 points for his third consecutive 20-point effort to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 102-81 victory over the visiting Washington Wizards on Friday.
Ersan Ilyasova had 16 points, Carlos Delfino scored 15 points, Mike Dunleavy tallied 13 points and Andrew Bogut had 13 points and 15 rebounds as the Bucks (2-1) won their second straight game.
Jordan Crawford scored 24 points for the Wizards (0-3).
Washington trailed by 24 points at halftime but crept to within 11 on a layup by Andray Blatche with 5:39 to play. Milwaukee responded with an 8-0 spurt and Jennings scored the final two baskets as the Bucks reasserted control.
The Bucks led by 26 points early in the third quarter before Washington went on a 15-3 run to cut its deficit to 70-56 on Crawford’s 3-pointer with 5:05 left in the quarter. Milwaukee’s lead was 11 entering the final period.
Rashard Lewis scored 14 for the Wizards, who shot just 35.3 percent. John Wall had just six points on 1-of-9 shooting and Nick Young went just 1-of-10 from the field for three points.
The Bucks shot 61.5 percent in the first half en route to a 65-41 halftime advantage. Milwaukee finished at 53.4 percent.
