Jodie Meeks matched a career-high with 26 points to lead seven players in double figures as the Philadelphia 76ers routed the visiting Washington Wizards 120-89 on Friday night.
Philadelphia (8-3) recorded a season-high in points and bounced back from Wednesday's loss against New York that broke a six-game winning streak.
The 76ers went ahead for good late in the first quarter and pulled away in the second. The lead reached 34 points, 87-53, late in the third quarter when Philadelphia tallied a season-high 38 points.
Rashard Lewis scored 16 points to lead the Wizards (1-10). The teams meet again Saturday night in Washington.
Philadelphia center Spencer Hawes returned after missing Wednesday's game with a strained back. He delivered 10 points and 10 rebounds in 19 minutes. Washington forward Andray Blatche missed his second straight game because of a sprained right shoulder.
The 76ers, who were 12 of 18 on 3-point attempts, are 5-0 at home.
