Grizzlies 86, Suns 84
Jared Dudley scored a season-high 20 points and buried the deciding free throws with 3.3 seconds to play as the host Phoenix Suns held on for an 86-84 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night.
Steve Nash had 21 points, six assists and five rebounds to help the Suns snap a three-game losing streak and send Memphis to its third consecutive loss.
Marc Gasol had 18 points and 13 rebounds - his fourth double-double in five games - and Rudy Gay also scored 18 for the Grizzlies, who erased a 16-point halftime deficit in the finale of a four-game road trip.
Hakim Warrick's three-point play gave Phoenix a 74-65 lead with eight minutes to play, but Gasol, Gay and point guard Mike Conley ignited a comeback to help the Grizzlies tie it at 82-82 with 1:24 to play.
Dudley nailed a pair of foul shots with 29 seconds left before Gay banked in a runner six seconds later to deadlock the score at 84-84.
Dudley drew a foul from Conley with 3.3 seconds left and buried both free throws to help Phoenix bounce back from a 109-71 beating in Portland on Friday night.
The Suns closed the second quarter on a 14-4 run to take a commanding 58-42 lead into halftime.
Memphis got eight points from Marreese Speights and used a pair of 8-0 spurts in the third quarter to close with 63-56 entering the final 12 minutes.
