Suns 98, Grizzlies 91

SUNS 98, GRIZZLIES 91: Jared Dudley scored 19 points and Steve Nash contributed 15 assists as host Phoenix snapped Memphis’ five-game winning streak.

Marcin Gortat had 15 points and nine rebounds and Grant Hill added 14 points as the Suns won for the seventh time in nine games.

Marc Gasol had 21 points and Rudy Gay added 19 for the Grizzlies, who fell for only the second time in 11 games.

Nash also had 11 points and helped Phoenix recover from an 11-point first-half deficit, marking the fifth straight home game in which the Suns rallied to win after trailing by double digits.

Phoenix led 80-74 entering the final quarter and increased its cushion to 10 points on Robin Lopez’s rebound basket midway through the stanza. Nash’s basket gave the Suns a 98-87 lead with under three minutes to play and Memphis was unable to mount a late charge.

Lopez had 11 points and seven rebounds, six of the boards coming on the offensive end. Phoenix had a 52-35 rebounding advantage.

Memphis led 46-35 in the second quarter half but Phoenix rallied with a 16-2 run to take the lead. The Suns held a 53-51 halftime advantage.
