Warriors 119, Jazz 101
Monta Ellis scored 33 points and Stephen Curry had 29 as the Golden State Warriors rolled to a 119-101 victory over the visiting Utah Jazz on Thursday night.
Curry had one of his best games of the season, shooting 10 of 14 and adding 12 assists and five rebounds. David Lee had 23 points and 14 rebounds while Dorell Wright added 13 points.
Gordon Hayward scored 21 points for the Jazz (12-9), who fell to 2-5 on the road. Thursday kicked off a stretch that will see the club play 14 of 20 games away from Utah.
Al Jefferson and Josh Howard poured in 19 points apiece while Paul Millsap had 15 points and 11 rebounds.
The Warriors (8-12) continued to push the tempo throughout the game. They scored 40 points in the third quarter to open an 11-point lead and never let up in the final frame.
Utah shooting guard Raja Bell (strained adductor) missed his third consecutive game.
