Magic 99, Bucks 94

Jason Richardson scored a season-high 31 points and made a career-best nine 3-point baskets to rally the Orlando Magic to a 99-94 victory over the host Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday.

Richardson hit four 3-pointers during a 16-0 spurt that saw Orlando turn a 10-point deficit with five minutes left into a six-point lead. Hedo Turkoglu added 19 points for the Magic.

Drew Gooden scored 21 points and Ersan Ilyasova had 17 points and 16 rebounds for Milwaukee.

Richardson hit nine of 11 3-point attempts and scored 28 second-half points. The Orlando record of 11 3-pointers was set by Dennis Scott during the 1995-96 season.

The Magic trailed 88-78 when Richardson started the decisive surge with a 3-pointer. His final one of the contest gave Orlando a six-point lead with 2:06 left.

Milwaukee appeared to be in good shape after Beno Udrih had six points during a 13-0 run that saw the Bucks take the 10-point advantage.

J.J. Redick added 14 points and Dwight Howard had 11 points and 14 rebounds for the Magic.

Mike Dunleavy scored 14 points and Carlos Delfino tallied 12 for the Bucks.
