MAGIC 114, BUCKS 98: Dwight Howard had 28 points and 14 rebounds as host Orlando finished a four-game season sweep of Milwaukee.
Jason Richardson scored 18 points and Ryan Anderson and Hedo Turkoglu each added 16 points as Orlando won for the eighth time in 11 games.
Brandon Jennings scored 27 points and Ersan Ilyasova added 18 points but they couldn’t prevent Milwaukee from losing its third straight and ninth in 11 contests.
The Magic had a 46-33 rebounding edge and knocked down 14 3-point baskets, including four from Chris Duhon.
Orlando led 82-80 late in the third quarter before Duhon hit a 3-pointer to start a 19-6 run. Duhon hit another 3-pointer early in the fourth quarter and J.J. Redick later delivered consecutive 3-pointers to give the Magic a 101-86 advantage with 6:39 left.
Duhon and Redick scored 12 points apiece and Jameer Nelson had 10 assists for the Magic.
Carlos Delfino added 10 points for the Bucks.
Orlando led by as many as 17 points during its 36-point opening quarter. Milwaukee got back in the game by starting the second quarter with a 14-2 led. The Magic led 61-60 at halftime.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Orlando has won 13 straight home games against the Bucks … Milwaukee had 10 offensive rebounds, increasing its streak to 17 straight games with 10 or more offensive boards … The double-double was Howard’s 30th of the season … Bucks swingman Mike Dunleavy returned after missing Friday’s game due to the birth of his son.
