Eric Bledsoe scored 24 points as host Phoenix defeated New Orleans for the second time in six days.

Markieff Morris stayed hot with 23 points on 9-of-12 shooting off the bench, topping the 20-point mark for the third straight game for Phoenix. Gerald Green chipped in 15 points and Miles Plumlee had eight points and 12 rebounds.

Jason Smith led the Pelicans with 22 points. Anthony Morrow had 16 off the bench and Anthony Davis finished with 14 points, 12 boards and four steals.

New Orleans forged 65-65 tie late in the third quarter before Morris had a personal 6-0 run and then saw brother Marcus Morris hit a 3-pointer early in the fourth for a seven-point bulge. Morrow's jumper with 6:30 left made it a one-point game, but Markieff Morris responded again with a jumper and a dunk to ignite a decisive 15-6 burst that left Phoenix with a 10-point lead with 1:24 to go.

The Pelicans had their last lead at 38-35 when Smith scored on a layup with 1:21 left in the first half. Bledsoe buried a jumper and Markieff Morris converted a layup and then made the only 3-pointer he attempted to give the Suns a 42-38 advantage at halftime.
