Gerald Green scored 21 points and Goran Dragic had 20 points and nine assists as visiting Phoenix won its third straight game and finished off a four-game season sweep of New Orleans.

Eric Bledsoe scored all 16 of his points in the second half for Phoenix, which moved within a half-game of seventh-place Dallas in the Western Conference race while remaining one game ahead of ninth-place Memphis for the final playoff spot. P.J. Tucker contributed 15 points and nine rebounds for the Suns, who scored the final seven points of the contest.

Jeff Withey scored a career-best 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting for the Pelicans, who were without All-Star forward Anthony Davis (back). Darius Miller and Anthony Morrow added 14 points apiece as New Orleans lost its sixth straight game.

Morrow scored the final four points of a 10-0 run that saw New Orleans take an 82-79 lead with 5:24 remaining. A basket by Bledsoe gave Phoenix an 89-88 advantage with 1:54 to play and Markieff Morris added a hoop 42 seconds later to help hold off the Pelicans, who missed their final five field-goal attempts.

Phoenix led 47-46 at the break used a 13-2 surge in the third quarter to open up a 10-point lead. The Pelicans trimmed their deficit to four before Green hit a 3-pointer to give the Suns a 71-64 advantage entering the final stanza.
