Stephen Curry collected 34 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and four steals as visiting Golden State knocked off Houston in a battle of unbeatens.

Curry went 6-of-9 from 3-point range and Andre Iguodala scored 15 points off the bench for the Warriors. Draymond Green scored 14 points and Andrew Bogut grabbed 18 rebounds to go along with eight points and four blocks as Golden State improved to 5-0.

James Harden scored 22 points but went 1-of-11 from beyond the arc for the Rockets, who were playing without starters Patrick Beverley (hamstring), Terrence Jones (leg) and Dwight Howard (illness). Isaiah Canaan scored a career-high 21 points as Houston shot 34.9 percent from the field.

Curry scored twice and assisted on Bogut’s layup in a 6-0 burst that left the Warriors on top 88-82 with 4:56 to play before both sides went into a funk. Curry’s last 3-pointer ended the combined drought and pushed Golden State’s lead to 91-82 with 2:17 remaining. He added two more baskets to help seal it.

The Rockets took a 56-48 lead into the half but the Warriors came out on fire on both ends in the third quarter, getting a trio of 3-pointers from Curry during a 22-4 run to begin the period. Houston recovered to pull within 76-69 by the end of the quarter and knotted it at 80 on Canaan’s 3-pointer with 8:27 to play.
