Klay Thompson scored 21 points and Stephen Curry added 20 and seven assists as Golden State pushed past visiting Houston to extend its franchise-record winning streak to 14 straight.

Harrison Barnes scored 20 points and Marreese Speights had 15 and eight rebounds off the bench for the Warriors, who dominated the fourth quarter 32-17. Draymond Green chipped in 11 points, eight rebounds and four steals as Golden State extended the best start in franchise history to 19-2.

James Harden had 34 points and eight rebounds as the Rockets had a four-game winning streak come to an end. Donatas Motiejunas and Trevor Ariza each added 18 points for Houston.

Harden buried a 3-pointer to tie it at 89 with 4:45 left but Curry found Green and Barnes for baskets and Thompson scored four points during an 11-0 burst that put the Warriors in front 100-89 with 2:23 to play. Curry’s 3-pointer pushed the lead to 105-93 as Golden State put it away.

It was knotted at 46 at the half and the Rockets took a 76-73 lead into the fourth. Harden’s 3-pointer with 7:20 to play gave Houston an 84-81 lead before Curry bookended an 8-2 run to put the Warriors in front 89-86 with 5:07 left.
