Senators 4, Panthers 1
Rookie Colin Greening tallied twice in just over a four-minute stretch in the second period as the Ottawa Senators skated to a 4-1 road triumph over the Florida Panthers on Thursday.
Defenseman Filip Kuba netted his first goal of the season, Nick Foligno also tallied and Marek Svatos notched a pair of assists as Ottawa (30-38-10) won for the 16th time in 19 games in Sunrise, Fla.
Craig Anderson turned aside 37 shots to record his third victory over Florida since being acquired from the Colorado Avalanche last month. Anderson played parts of three seasons with the Panthers.
After Foligno opened the scoring 5:28 into the first period, Greening doubled the advantage just 2:30 into the second period. Greening answered Michal Repik's tally with his second of the night just 34 seconds later and Kuba benefited from a takeaway by Ryan Shannon to score nearly eight minutes later.
