Senators 5, Maple Leafs 2


Nick Foligno scored a pair of goals as the visiting Ottawa Senators snapped a five-game losing streak with a 5-2 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday night in the Hockey Hall of Fame Game.

Zack Smith had a goal and an assist and defenseman Sergei Gonchar scored for the second straight night as Ottawa won for the first time since beating the Maple Leafs on Oct. 30.

Craig Anderson turned aside 31 shots and earned his second assist of the season on Foligno's first goal as the Senators handed Toronto its third straight home defeat.

Tyler Bozak and Joffrey Lupul had goals for the Maple Leafs, who have been outscored 17-3 during the three-game skid at Air Canada Centre.

Anderson, who was yanked after giving up two goals in the first 2:25 of Friday's 5-1 loss at Buffalo, snapped a personal five-game losing streak.

Rookie Ben Scrivens, making his second straight start for the Maple Leafs, had 19 saves. He has allowed 10 goals on 40 shots in three home appearances.
