Blue Jackets 3, Ducks 2 (OT)

Derick Brassard scored two goals, including the game winner 3:55 into overtime as the Columbus Blue Jackets snapped a four-game losing streak by rallying to beat the host Anaheim Ducks 3-2 on Friday.

Brassard forced a turnover in the Columbus end to create a 2-on-1 he capped by firing a short-side shot past Anaheim netminder Jonas Hiller.

Blue Jackets sniper Jeff Carter tied the game with a power-play goal at 2:05 of the third period. Antoine Vermette backhanded a pass across the top of the crease to Carter, who buried his 11th of the season.

Teemu Selanne gave the Ducks a 2-1 lead at 16:52 of the middle frame with his second goal of the night and ninth power-play marker of the season. Corey Perry found the future Hall of Famer alone in the slot and Selanne one-timed his 18th of the season.

Earlier in the second period, Brassard put the Jackets on the board with his eighth goal of the season. Captain Rick Nash got his stick on a rebound off a point shot, poking it to Brassard at the side of the net at 14:47.

Selanne scored the lone first period goal at 1:46 when he slammed home a loose puck that trickled under goalie Curtis Sanford.
