: Goaltender Tim Thomas improved to 6-0 in shootouts as host Boston snapped a four-game losing streak.

Tyler Seguin had a goal in regulation and scored one of the Bruins' three goals in the shootout as Boston handed Philadelphia only its second loss in nine games.

David Krejci and Patrice Bergeron also tallied in the extra session to snap Flyers goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov's seven-game winning streak.

Thomas denied Danny Briere to clinch the victory, moving Boston back atop the Northeast Division. Ottawa dropped a 3-1 decision to Toronto on Saturday night.

Thomas turned aside 27 shots and improved to 11-1-1 in his last 13 starts against the Flyers.

Chris Kelly also scored in regulation for the Bruins, who improved to 27-0-0 when leading after two periods.

Matt Read had a goal and an assist and Jakub Voracek added a goal for Philadelphia, which lost for the ninth time in 10 meetings against Boston despite erasing a 2-0 lead.

The Bruins, who had allowed the first two goals in four straight games, opened the scoring for the first time in eight games when Kelly pounced on a rebound and scooped it past Bryzgalov less than 6 1/2 minutes in.

Seguin doubled the lead at 17:07 of the first, but the Flyers cut the deficit in half when Read redirected a one-timer from Briere on the power play midway through the second period.

Philadelphia got the equalizer with 4:17 left in regulation when Voracek redirected a wrist shot from the point by Braydon Coburn for his third goal in four games.
