Blackhawks rally for 6-4 win over Blues

ST. LOUIS -- Vinnie Hinostroza scored off a rebound with 4:25 left in the third period to lift the Chicago Blackhawks to a 6-4 win over the St. Louis Blues on Saturday night.

Hinostroza was able to get a backhand shot past goalie Jake Allen to give the Blackhawks their first lead of the game and snap the Blues' point streak at home at 14 games (11-0-3). Artemi Panarin added at empty-net goal with 49 seconds to play.

The win improved the Blackhawks' record to 5-0-1 in their last six games.

The Blackhawks had tied the score 4-4 one minute into the third period. Defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson scored when his shot deflected off the stick of Blues defenseman Jay Bouwmeester past goalie Jake Allen.

The Blues had taken a 4-3 lead on a goal by Alex Pietrangelo with just 12 seconds left in the second period.

Patrik Berglund scored two goals for the Blues and defenseman Joel Edmundson had three assists.

Three times the Blues took a one-goal lead in the first two periods, only to see the Blackhawks come back each time to tie the score.

Berglund had gone 25 games without a goal before he scored an empty-netter at the end of Thursday night's game, and he didn't waste any time before scoring again, just 41 seconds into this game. A stretch pass from Edmundson sent him in alone against goalie Scott Darling.

The Blackhawks tied the score with 26 seconds left in the period when Dennis Rasmussen knocked in a rebound.

Kyle Brodziak put the Blues in front again when his shot deflected off a broken stick and into the net 3:12 into the second period before Patrick Kane broke a long drought with his first goal in 10 games on a breakaway at 10:45 of the period.

Berglund's second goal of the game at 14:35 of the second period broke the 2-2 tie as he converted a perfect pass from Alexander Steen. Again, the Blackhawks responded, this time on a goal by Brian Campbell with 1:01 left in the period.

The Blackhawks lost center Artem Anisimov to an undisclosed injury in the first period when he had to leave the game and did not return.
