Top ACC Players of Week 2

Here are the top performers from the ACC in week two.


Andre Williams – RB, Boston College

Boston College have begun the season stronger than many believed and it’s in part down to running back Williams.  In an all-ACC affair in week two against Wake Forest,  the senior tailback carried the load on 35 occasions for 204 yards and a touchdown.

Stat line: 35 rush  204 yards  1TD  Long 31  Avg 5.8

 

Stefon Diggs – WR, Maryland

Old Dominion could do nothing to contain the explosive sophomore wide receiver who had his second big outing this season.  The six-foot receiver burned the Monarchs for 179 yards and a touchdown.

Stat line: 6 rec  179 yards  1TD

 

Cole Stoudt - QB, Clemson

The heir to Tajh Boyd’s throne put on an impressive performance in the second half against South Carolina State.  Stoudt only had one incompletion on his 20 passing attempts which included three touchdowns.

Stat line: 19-20  143yards  3TD

 

Jamison Crowder – WR, Duke

Crowder had a break-out season in 2012 and he isn’t slowing down.  The junior speedster gashed Memphis for 140 yards on 11 receptions.  Crowder has quickly become the go-to receiver for Blue Devils quarterbacks.
