Immediately following a grab where he reached abck with his glove hand to grab a baseball to end the fifth inning, Atlanta Braves atrting pitcher Brandon McCarthy exited the game with a shoulder issue and never returned. Tests revealed McCarthy sustained a dislcoated left shoulder.

The injury will almost certainly keep him out for his next start and lead to a trip on the 10-day disabled list, but his pitching arm is fine. We'll update you when more info is available.
