Bud Norris Dominates in Dodgers Debut

Bud Norris is definitely a pitcher you should be keeping an eye on in both re-draft and DFS contests around the fantasy baseball world. The recently acquired Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher has been in an absolute zone recently, something that continued Friday night when Norris made his debut with the Dodgers.

The veteran held the Colorado Rockies scoress in six innings of work, striking out eight and walking just one batter. All said, the Rockies were able to scrape together two hits against Norris.

This has the former journeyman pitcher putting up some absurd splits in recent weeks. He's posted a 1.78 ERA with more than one strikeout per inning and a 4-to-1 strikeout/walk ratio over his past six starts. Set to pitch against the heavy-hitting Baltimore Orioles (his former team) on Wednesday, he might be a decent guy to avoid in DFS contests that day.

Though, Norris' following start against the San Diego Padres should see him becoming viable from a DFS perspective again. In any event, make sure to keep up with how well this veteran is doing with the Dodgers. He could end up being fantasy gold moving forward.
