Kershaw could potentially be back in time for his second turn in the rotation post All-Star Break, which would be big news for the Dodgers.
The three-time Cy Young winner has posted an 11-2 record with a MLB-best 1.79 ERA and 0.73 WHIP in 16 starts this season. He's also struck out 145 batters compared to nine walks in 121 innings.
