The Arizona Diamondbacks have activated ace starter Zack Greinke from the 15-day disabled list. Out since late June with an oblique strain, Greinke will now start Tuesday against the New York Mets. 

The free-agent addition has pitched to a 10-3 record with a 3.62 ERA and 1.16 WHIP in 17 starts. He had yielded just seven earned runs in his final six starts before being placed on the shelf.
