Brian McCann apparently suffered some sort of head injury in the Houston Astros' game against the Cleveland Indians. He played that entire game, but was absent from the lineup on Saturday. Now, we know why.

McCann was placed on the seven-day concussion disabled list on Sunday, retroactive to May 20th.

We're not too sure how long he will be out of action, but Evan Gattis will handle the Astros' primary catching duties until he returns. The team also called up Juan Centeno from Triple-A to take McCann's spot on the active roster.

McCann is hitting .269 with six homers and 25 RBI this season, his first with the Astros.
