Jose Reyes Set to Join the New York Mets on Tuesday

Enigmatic veteran infielder Jose Reyes will make his first appearance in the Majors this season with the New York Mets. Reyes, 33, was suspended by MLB earlier in the year for his role in a domestic violence situation. Immediately after he was reinstated by the league, Reyes was then outright released by the Colorado Rockies.

The four-time All-Star has not appeared in the Majors since 2015 when he tallied a .274 average with seven homers, 53 RBI and 24 steals between Toronto and Colorado.

Reyes figures to see the majority of his time at third base and will likely be hitting near the top of the Mets' lineup. He's definitely someone to keep an eye on in DFS contests. But we're going to want to see him get his sea legs underneath himself before jumping on the veteran.
