St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Matt Holliday will miss the team's final game before the All-Star break due to an ankle injury he suffered on Friday. Holliday had to sit out Saturday's contest against the Milwaukee Brewers as well, meaning that the injury is more significant than first believed.
Holliday, 36, is hitting .241 with 15 homers and 52 RBI on the season. Tommy Pham will fill in for Holliday in left field against Brewers starter Junior Guerra on Sunday.
