Following an injury suffered yesterday, the Baltimore Orioles placed second baseman Jonathan Schoop on the 10-day disabled list. Schoop, who underwent an MRI on his right oblique this morning, as of now is only expected to miss the minimum amount of time on the disabled list.

Tim Beckham is expected to start at second base in his absence, opening up more time for Danny Valencia at third base.
