The Philadelphia Phillies have placed 23-year-old starting pitcher Aaron Nola on the 15-day disabled list with an elbow strain. In order to replace him in the rotation, the team called up Phil Klein from the Minors to pitch Wednesday evening.
Nola has posted a 6-9 record with a 4.78 ERA and 1.31 WHIP in 20 starts this season. He's also tallying over nine strikeouts per nine innings on the season.
